Terms

Initial orders are offered on a pro forma basis and may be paid by any of the above methods. Initial orders paid by cheque or BACS will be dispatched within 5 days of clearance of payment. Orders paid with Debit card, Credit card or  CHAPS will be dispatched immediately.

Subsequent orders will be released after receipt of payment unless credit account facilities have been agreed.

Credit facilities may be agreed on completion of a ‘Credit Account Application Form’.

Credit account customers are offered 30 days credit from date of invoice. The company reserves the right to charge 2% interest per month on overdue accounts.

Shortage or Damage Claims

Any claims for shortages or damage must be reported within 5 days of receipt of goods. Any damaged goods must be retained for our collection

Delivery

Mainland UK not extremities:

All prices are net and do not include postage or VAT. All mainland UK orders under £500 are subject to £13.50 postage. Mainland orders over £500 are delivered free of charge.

Orders outside mainland UK are dispatched at cost price; please contact us for a quotation.

We aim to dispatch within two days of receipt of orders but at busy periods this may not be possible and we will advise you as necessary.

Backorder

Items that are out of stock will be placed on backorder automatically and will be dispatched on arrival unless the total value is less than £50 in which case the backorder will be deleted.

New products and non stock item deliveries will be delivered on arrival.

On orders split due to non stock, carriage will be calculated on the whole order and will be payable once only.

Bounced cheques and non payment:

A payment of £25 will be charged each time a cheque is returned or re-presented.

Any costs incurred by us in order to collect an overdue account will be charged to you, such as collection agency fees, solicitors fees and court costs.

Title

Title of goods shall pass from ‘The Tin Fish Company Ltd.’ to the buyer, only when all monies owed by the buyer to the company have been paid.

Risk

Not withstanding the above, the risk in the goods (in respect of loss or damage or otherwise) shall pass to the buyer upon delivery.

Prices

Prices may be subject to change without notice, but goods on advance order will always be charged at the price at time of order.

Goods

All sizes quoted are approximate due to the handmade nature of the products. Minor defects and colour variation are a normal aspect of the product.
